The Newark Ghanaian Community and Barrel Shipping
Newark, Irvington, East Orange, Orange, and South Orange form one of the most concentrated West African communities in New Jersey. The Springfield Avenue corridor and the area around Irvington Center have a large number of Ghanaian-owned businesses and households that ship regularly to Ghana. Because Guldstreet's main staging facility is in the Port Newark area, Newark customers often benefit from some of the fastest pickup-to-vessel timelines of any location we serve.
